I’m becoming quieter.
Make less sound when I walk. Say less when it’s my time to talk.
I’ve noticed that there’s a respectable power that stems from being quiet when you’re expected to be the loudest.
That others will listen more to what you say.
And believe what you say more.
Here’s an irony, too.
When I’m quiet about my work, my work begins to say everything that needs to be said.
