Hey, I’m Jay.
This is where I post my thoughts & Notes on business and other things that I’m thinking about. Enjoy.

Candy Hustle

I never looked at myself as an entrepreneur as a kid, but I definitely did have hustles.

Used to color on my shoes and try to sell them. They were too cheap, though, and everyone knew my shit was from the thrift store!

Then there was the craftier hustles, like when I’d take other kids’ pink erasers and stick paper clips and tacks into them. I’d call it “desk art,” then sell it back to them for milk money.

And of course, the candy bars.

I’d sell candy bars to raise funds for my baseball uniforms.

Was fun to hear T.I. talk about his own candy hustle when he was a kid. That convo starts at minute 13.

Even though T.I. and I both slung candy, I gotta admit…he was smarter at it than I was.
